RSI was founded in 1998 by Mike Buccina, The company has been located in Clearwater Florida since the inception. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa. Mr. Buccina has been involved in the collection industry since 1985 and has specialized in insurance related debt since relocating to Florida in 1989.
Mike has served on the Board of the International Association of Commercial Collectors (IACC) formerly know as the American Commercial Collectors Association (ACCA), as well as the Florida Division of the American Collectors Association( ACA). RSI remains active in the memberships of these organizations. These memberships have numerous benefits which include exposure to the latest collection software, crucial legislative updates, new technology as well as being entitled to reduced long distance rates, insurance rates, bond costs, etc., all of which assist in keeping operating expenses in check. Mr. Buccina is active in the daily operation of RSI and is committed to maintaining the service and recovery levels that our client base expects and is accustomed to. The RSI staff is well trained and we believe in continued education. We fully understand audits (Workers Comp, Liability), earned and unearned premiums, retros, premium finance and the like. We feel this knowledge is critical in getting the debt resolved. We know how to evaluate the legitimacy of a dispute.
